Pajero Fuel Filter Change

Pajero Fuel FilterThis is one part of the servicing I’ve been putting off for a while. It just looked a little complicated to me and when you start playing about with fuel lines and things it worries a relative newbie with the spanners. Anyway, it had to be done and I was determined to do it myself, so here’s the write-up with some pictures.

So anyway, I rotated the wheels today in the sense of moving their positions on the car, rather than just spinning them around! This should increase the amount of wear I get out of them as a full set as they should theoretically wear evenly.

Oil Change

I’ve finally worked out an oil change schedule and I did the first this morning. Oil changes for the Pajero are a minefield of decisions based on three questions:

* How often?
* Which oil filter?
* Which oil?

After a great deal of reading and some discussion on the POCUK forums I had to come to a decision and stick to it. You can really go on forever with especially the second two questions, but at some point you’ve got to go ahead with what you think is best. So here’s what I’ve decided and why:
