Thanks Chris!

Never changed one myself so I wouldn't know. Maybe someone else will be able to help or recommend a fitter near you.

Good luck with it.

Hi Neil

Sounds like you've found a beauty there!

Haven't got headlight washers myself, but I believe you need the headlights on first before they'll work?
After that, you could look to see if the pump is seized. This can be fixed with some lubricant.
This might help with the compass - http://www.pocuk.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=64067

Tim The problem with the lights only started about 2 months ago.I bought it from a bloke who bought the car new and I am the second owner. The car is in unreal condition. I rang the first owner and he never had any problems with the lights.I talked to an auto electrician yesterday and he said maybe check the headlight relays one might be stuck on. If I find out what is wrong I will let you know in case anyone else has the same problem

                   Regards Fred

Hi everybody, ive just collected my 94k 1994(M) Pajero 2.8 TD auto LWB in blue and i love it! superb value for £1800, i went for the 2.8 for the chain driven engine.

its bodywork is beautiful for its age. the interior is as clean as a brand new one and its engine sounds as sweet as a nut, it purrs like a new car!

a couple of trivial issues for its age which i would love answering are why the headlight washer jets wont work (is it common?) and the digital compass display seems to just flick up and down between poles instead of pointing in any direction (it looks like a digital clock that needs setting)

your comments and answers would be a great help,

Cheers,
Neil.
