Hi, I have a 1998 Pajero 2.8 auto, with 4m40 engine. I noticed that the fuel in the tank has blackish color, it seems there’s oil that mixed in it. What is the possible reason for this and what shall i do. Thanks

Couldn’t tell you Stuart to be honest as I’ve never bought one myself. A quick Google throws up a few places but I couldn’t vouch for any of them I’m afraid.

tim where can i pick up a gr19relay nobody in the local area seems to know code no and so cannot locate/ie is it a lucas part .
is there any other suggestions of what could be the problem starting a pajero in cold weather apart from fuel pump seals look forward to your reply / stuart

Hi Mike

If memory serves me well, there are 4 bolts inside the bumper that allow you to adjust the end caps.

Hey, I Have a 1994 swb Pajero Auto 2.5tdi. My front end cap bumpers are are sagging. How do i get them back up again so they are inline and flush. Thanks

Hi Val/Keith
As far as I know Pajeros of that age didn’t have security systems fitted as standard. So unless you have an after-market alarm on it you’ll have to tell them none fitted.

Hi, can anyone help.Purchased our first 1995 Pajero Exceed 2.8 LWB a year ago. Decided to change insurance co. due to high quote this year. Insurance co. have now contacted us to ask what car alarm is fitted. As far as we are aware there is no extra alarm on this vehicle. Handbook does not mention anything. Does anyone know what type of security systems, if any, would have been incorporated on this vehcle from manufacture.
