Pajero Discussion

As the site gets busier people are emailing me and adding comments to certain posts. This is great - please continue! But some of the comments under certain posts haven’t been relevant to the post topic, so I thought I’d start a section where anything goes. I’ll move comments here from other posts if they aren’t really relevant to the post.

Please post a comment below if you just want to say hello, have a question about Pajeros, or simply want to let everyone know about your truck.

Hi John. I suppose the obvious conclusion would be that they’re not being charged correctly. One of the reasons some Pajeros have two batteries is so that they can run lots of electrics, so what you had switched on shouldn’t have caused any problem. Guess you need to check the charging set up.
Then you might just be unlucky enough to have two worn out batteries which would need replacing. Of course this is something you need to be spot on before the mornings start getting cold.
Let us know how you get on.

Hi Tim, More problems, just been a 100 mile run, car went great, unfortunately when I stopped it it would’nt start, batteries totaly flat, I did have the lights on and the heater, also had a plug in the high amp socket in the centre consul running a very small item, has anyone got any ideas, I checked to make sure I hadnt knocked any connections off when I did the filter, funny that both batteries went flat, I was led to believe they were independant of one another, again if you can give any details on this please, anyway must go and tinker again to see if I spot anything.

Hi Naeem. Very common problem. Have a look at this awesome post about it on the Pocuk Forums - Pajero Flashing Light Fix
    Hope this helps.

I have a problem with my pajero. The 4X4 indicator in the dashboard is blinking like when you change from 2 to 4 wheel drive. It blinks all the time but when in 4X4 it stops like it should. Do you have any idea how to check this problem and solve it.

Hi Stephen - thanks for sharing your photos with us. Your Girlfriend’s Bluemoon looks in superb condition. I see she’s still got the original wheels on and the front bumper finisher - 2 bits that are missing from mine.
    Thanks again - Tim

Hi Justin - thanks for the comment. Yeah that sounds like a good price. My fog lamps are bubbling just the same. Not sure if you can get genuine Mitsubishi ones anywhere apart from ebay, but you could have a look at http://www.pajeroaccessories.co.uk to see if there’s any on there you fancy.
Good luck with the new Pajero.

Hi there, Just brought one today 2.8 td 1995 on a N plate. Really good condition and 96,000 miles. Paid £1900 for it which i thought was good value. Just the spot/fog lamps have a little bubble rust on them and thats it. Do you know where i can get some from? Cheers Jdub.
