Pajero Discussion
As the site gets busier people are emailing me and adding comments to certain posts. This is great - please continue! But some of the comments under certain posts haven’t been relevant to the post topic, so I thought I’d start a section where anything goes. I’ll move comments here from other posts if they aren’t really relevant to the post.
Please post a comment below if you just want to say hello, have a question about Pajeros, or simply want to let everyone know about your truck.

Hi Scott - great comment thanks!
Sounds like you’ve got yourself a nice motor, low miles and not been here long (like mine). The rising roof is rarer than ‘normal’ ones, but you do see them about. Not sure what the purpose is exactly.
Glad you like my site, but it’s only young yet, so please come back. I’ll probably ’see’ you over at POCUK if you sign up.
Enjoy the beast!

Hi Tim,
I’ve been a proud owner of my Pajero now for about 24 hours!! Its a 1991 LWB 2.5 TD and from what I can make out its something to do with ‘Ralliart’ and also has a ‘MMC’ badge on it too. Its done 63,000 miles from new and has only been in the country since 2005. It is also the ‘Kick Up Roof’ version which I haven’t seen before. Like I said I’ve only had 24 hours so I haven’t had a chance to do any research yet on my new beast but I’m already loving it.
I stumbled across your website and though I’d have a look. I’ve read your blog on ‘What does this do’ and that just about sums me up the moment!! I haven’t really had a chance yet to browse POCUK but it seems like the right place to find out what I need to know. If you have any info for me to start with i’d appreciate it but in the meantime i’ll see how I go!!
Great site.
Scott.

Thanks Tim. Taking it to mechanic to get it checked out.

Hi Michael
I take it you’ve checked for damaged hoses or loose connections? How about water pump seals? How’s your radiator and radiator cap? This would eliminate minor stuff before looking at the head and head gasket.
Hope this helps.

Having problems with 95 Pajero 2.8D. Losing coolant, can trace source, not overheating and motoring okay. Any suggestions.

Hi Claire, thanks for your comment.
I’ve only ever seen one red Pajero before so I think they must be pretty rare. Glad you like the ride - I was surprised how easy it easy to drive too. Ask away if you’re unsure about the buttons and good luck with the new love of your life.

Hi, I’ve just bought a 1993 2.5 SWB Pajero in red and I’m totally in love. I’ve always had small cars before and this is just amazing. You feel so high up and it feels large but it’s easy to drive. Just getting used to automatic and trying to work out all the buttons. Love your site and I’ll be coming back!
